Mythology
This unit will present a study of folklore through explorations of the Greek myths. Students will read narrative texts, analyze literary criticism, and take part in small group work and whole-class discussions. Students will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining a classroom website of information pertaining to this project. Students will extend their knowledge by conducting research into some aspect of cultural mythology in Greece, Ireland, or Wales. All groups will take part in the creation of art by designing, planning, and building a mosaic panel. This unit will run 6 weeks from Wednesday March 7th to Friday April 20th.
